He's Back!!

Jake came home from Chili!! After 2 years it was great to have our entire family toghether again. It's just not the same with anyone missing. I love that no one lives too far away (we are the farthest in IF) and we get to see eachother often! All the boys.

Precious. The only neice Jake had when he left.

Patiently waiting.

The kids playing at Olive Garden after. Jake's request of first food. (Annie is naked due to a horrible accident that even filled the highchair. So fun.).

Yes this happened Aug.6th....

But I finally got around to getting my pictures back! Annie's b-day was Sat., Aug 6th, the day after we got home from Bear Lake. What a crazy time. The next day I got stomache flu AND drove to Washington. And right after her park party with perfect weather there was a huge storm. So perfect timing.

I just realized I did all my pics in backwards order. So you can start from the bottom and read up, or not.

At the end all Annie really wanted was to roll the pop cans around.

She LOVED all her presents.

Our birthday queen. We thought there was no way she would her cake (she just throws food) so I didn't bother to make her anything specail. She ended up eating three mini cupcakes. So proud :).

Annie had a concerned look on her face most the party. But I think she had fun.

Cupcake and polkadot theme. Annie (and Scott and I too) loved all the family that came! We are so lucky!

The night before having the traditional bday dinner at Garcias with the Sonbrero. Too bad she couldn't eat her ice cream and mom had to help her. haha.

Halloween Night

A puppy, ballerina, rag doll, and monster. I'm sure we scared our neighbors.

Halloween afternoon. Ava and Lisa came from Pheonix for a fun Halloween surprise!

Happy Halloween!

Scott wanted something easy, free, and comfortable. So he picked his own costume.

A ceiling fan.

And here is my little dolly.

Fall

It's officially Fall and we are lovin it. Scott and I made a fall to do list so we aren't wishing we had done more things when winter comes around. And the top of our list? Mesa Falls to see the colors.

Kym, Adam, and baby E came along!

Friday night football game. We were a little worried about taking Annie, but she liked it more then anyone. Annie fell asleep on the way home and when we woke her up to dress her she immediately started clapping. Our little cheerleader.

Annie NEVER would take a pacifier as a baby. Now every morning she finds a pacifier and scoots around the room as if she is doing something good.

Watching conference with good friends. Annie LOVES little boys.

Watching Elmo on her belly. Annie can say Daddy, mommy, ni-night, elmo, and No. She probably says no the most.

Annie's favorite past time. She reads books ALL DAY LONG. She loves them. And I'm quite impressed with her concepts of print already.

Well, just a small Annie update. Life is good!

September.

I can't believe it's almost gone. I feel like I'm going to be saying that the rest of my life sometimes. I'm actually ready for fall (just not the looong winter) and am counting down the days to decorate for Halloween! Here are some pics of a little of this and a little of that.

Annie deciding if she should throw a fit or ham it up for the camera.

She decided fit.

My sweetheart.

First slide attemt. She was neutral.

Tractor ride. I promise she had fun, I know her face says otherwise.

The Torrances came to visit! Annie loves having Jake and Abby around, we have missed those guys! I love Jake's hand on Annie's back.

Corn maze. Thankfully we took the kid route.

Real men carry babies.

A zoo outing with the Eastmans. Ezra and Annie, they look thrilled.

Very nervous and excited to pet the goats.

Annie and MiKayla in matching bows!

Labor Day Love

Labor day is one of my favorite weekends because it's a day off work (or a day off work for Scott which is just as happy) and it means Cub River Camping!
Lots of pictures...all in backward order.
On Monday Scott went dirtbiking with his buddies and then took us to the fair! It's an interesting place but we had a blast with Annie. We played a dart game and won her a little pillow "chum" that she snuggled until she fell asleep at the end.

We took Annie on a train ride, the carousel, and this random spinny ride. I had never seen it going and asked the carnie running the ride if babies could go. He didn't speak English and let me on so I figured we were good to go. This ride was NOT meant for babies. It took you around fast while going up and down and spinning. I was pretty nervous the whole time.

Afterward we found the sign that said you needed to be 36" to ride with an adult strapped in (Annie was on my lap) or 42" to ride by yourself. I guess we learned our lesson. Annie is on her tippytoes in this picture.

Scott took all the pictures but had just as much fun as we did. At the end he even watched Annie while I did a big scarey ride. I love him :)

Friday we left for the cub river and came home Sunday night. It was Annie's first camping trip and she did great! Then nights were a freezing but she slept deep, the only time she struggled was in the morning when she wanted to be awake and play but it was too cold to be away from the fire.

My dad and his dirty pride and joys. He had all of them pretty tight, until Annie almost scooted in the river.

Annie's first fish!

My fav. pic of the weekend. Dirty and as happy as can be!

This girl loved the hammoc. She took all her naps in there and was the camp hammoc hog. Sorry.

Just lounging on Grandpa.

Stealing Kyla's camp chair.

The entertainers.

What we hiked along.

Terrible family picture... but it's the best we got.

Poor Scott, Annie is no lightweight.

On Friday was also our last day of Mommy and me swim lessons. Annie did great, learned how to kick and tolerates being dunked under water.

They even have the little babies go off the diving board.

My sweetheart.
