Halloween 2010

Annie's first Halloween! We went down to Utah because Halloween is pretty fun at my house, but the best part was little miss Anna Kalia McRae (my brother's baby) was born!! She is a little beauty! It is so crazy to see Annie next to a newborn. They grow so fast. I wonder how many times I will type that on my blog..

Anyway, everything seems so much more fun with a baby! She was pretty grumpy all day but that didn't keep us from taking her trixk-or-treating. I was always one of those annoying kids that trick-or-treated until...college. Yes it's true. So I was very excited to go out again even if Annie had no idea what was going on.

My house and my dad. Annie is still too little to be scared of Grandpa on Halloween.

For Scott's work they go all out and each department has a different theme. Scott's was toy story. He was big baby from the third movie and did a pretty good job. I think he looks the best in the second picture.

Scott and I didn't dress up this year, we don't really know why. But we did carve pumpkins and had a fun night! Kiera's family wins the best costume award, Dopey is my favorite! They were nice enough to let us carve pumpkins with them.

Happy (late) Halloween!!

3 months!

Baby Annie is three months old today and all smiles!

I laid her on her tummy for tummy time this morning, and she ROLLED! We made her do it three more times just to make sure it stuck. I can't believe this little girl can roll.
I love this pic because she looks extra fat. I love fat babies!

Here she is just happy to be on the bed

Fall photo shoot

Hey look, Scott and I still do exist:

Miriam Lusk took these pictures, and I am in love!

If Annie had to be famous for something it would be blowing bubbles or grunting.

Matchy Matchy

My mom, Kiera, and her kids came to visit for the weekend! Annie was blessed and it was a beautiful day (another post on this later, I lost my camera in the chair for the weekend :( ). I got the girls matching PJs, and they were so cute together. Kyla didn't really get it at first and kept asking, "But what are we going to be?"

Two Cute girls!

2 Months!

Love this baby! And at 2 months she is such a sweetie. Nothing makes me happier than seeing her smile.

I attempted some 2 month old pics. Next time I will leave that to the professionals.

She is a little chunky.

Not exactly the smile I was going for.

Gardner Village

This is the first fall I have not gone back to school since I started kindergarten. I went to school growing up every year as a kid, went to four years of college, then taught school a year. It's been kind of weird, all though I wouldn't trade staying home with Annie for anything. Staying home does have its perks. I was talking to my sister and she was telling me how her, my mom, and grandma were all going to Gardner Village. I decided I wanted to go and that was that. Scott was super busy so I left him behind and went to Utah for a couple days. Annie was a great little traveler and it was fun to just leave on a whim.

Gardner Village is the best to go to in the fall. Everything is done up cute and is witch themed. Unfortunately This is the only witch picture we got. Shopping is a whole new world taking aorund 3 kids (Annie, Bryce, and Kyla). Kyla was a little scared to stand so close to the witch and took some convincing.

Bryce eventually got the duck. Good thing it didnt' bite.

Annie and Grandpa McRae. So sweet.

My lucky parents spent 2 weeks in Hawaii. Kyla trying on her Hawaiian outfit. Isn't she cute?

The Nursery

I've been meaning to post these pics. forever. When we first moved into our house the thing I was excited for most was to finish her nursery. I told Scott what I wanted and he finished it. He spent lots of hours figuring out how to do crown molding, put up beadboard, painting, and finishing everything. And he did a pretty awesome job! There's still a few finishing touches I want to add, but for the most part it is done.

The curtains with a double window sill and crown molding:

My favorite piece, the chandelier. The pic. doesn't do it justice:

The furniture was from my room when I was little, along with pretty much all of her decor.

My sister made the awesome blanket on her crib. She's pretty amazing!! The little heart shelf was from a garage sale that I painted and the pottery barn bedding I got a sweet deal from ebay.

My grandpa made me the big heart shelf when I was little. We ordered the chair and I love it! It is where I spend a large part of my night :)
And the best part of all? The little girl whose room it is:
